Applicants from Costa Rica applying as beginning students or as transfer students may provide evidence of secondary school completion by submitting a certified true copy of one of the following:
- Diploma De Conclusion De Estudios De Educacion Diversificada Academico
- Diploma De Concusion De Estudios De Educacion Diversificada Artistico
- Diploma De Conclusion De Estudios De Educacion Diviersificada Tecnico Medio (Rama Tecnica)
- Bachiller Por Madurez
Successful completion of a curriculum including English, Mathematics, and Biology, Chemistry, or Physics passed with grades averaging 8 (or 80%) or more will be required for admission consideration.
Advanced standing may be granted to applicants who successfully complete further study and provide a certified true copy of the grade transcript from any of the following:
- Bachiller En Ciencias De La Educacion / Biologia
- Profesor De Ensenaza Primaria / Educacion Primaria
- Trabajador Social
- Profesorado / Profesor Del Estado (3-Year Program)
- Carrera Corta
- Diplomado
- Contador
Applicants applying as transfer students from Costa Rican universities must submit an official original or certified true copy of the university transcript in addition to evidence of secondary school completion.
