ISS offers a variety of services and programs to students from abroad. Immigration counselors are available for walk-in questions on Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., except Thursday morning. Appointment times are also available on a daily basis for more complicated requests and issues.

ISS counselors are knowledgable about immigration services and are able to assist international students with a variety of requests.

Requests may include:

• extension of stay applications
• transfer adjudication between Purdue and other U.S. academic institutions.
• employment applications
• reinstatement applications
• travel endorsements
• applications to change non-immigrant status.

Requests may require up to ten business days to process. All required forms are available in the ISS office. Employment applications are also available on-line under the On-Line Documents section.
