International Undergraduate Admissions
ISS admission staff is responsible for recruiting, evaluating, admitting, and maintaining pre-enrollment records for international undergraduate students. International admissions staff actively recruits new students and supports campus-wide international recruitment initiatives.
The staff assesses and analyzes the academic qualifications of applicants from a variety of educational systems and determines each individual´s admissibility to undergraduate programs. After an international student is admitted, admissions staff manages the collection of initial fees, issuance of initial immigration documents, and dissemination of pre-arrival information.
It is also the responsibility of this area to assess and analyze the post-secondary non-U.S. academic credentials of all prospective international and domestic students and to determine transferability of credit to the University´s undergraduate programs.
ISS admission staff also communicate information to prospective international students, their parents, financial sponsors, school officials, placement agencies and home government sponsors regarding admission requirements and the application process through personal contacts, telephone conversations, email and other correspondence.
