Educational Exchange Program

The Educational Exchange Program is a free service offered by the Purdue Office of International Students and Scholars that connects local teachers and community organizations with Purdue's international students and scholars for the purpose of cultural exchange.

Purdue's International student enrollment of over 8,700 students is a great resource to the Greater Lafayette community. International students, scholars and spouses can provide an opportunity for area residents to get a first hand glimpse of what life is like in another country or culture.

Here's what one educator had to say about the Educational Exchange Program:

"Thanks for continuing the Educational Exchange Program. My World Lit students at Harrison High School have really benefited from getting to meet others from distant countries and to hear about those places… Let the international students know just how much good they do by visiting and speaking to the high school students. Thanks again for your help this year."

-Tanya Van Hyfte, Harrison High School

"We really do appreciate all you and your office has done for our school. It has added a lot to our curriculum and our students understanding and appreciation for African and Asian countries. Beth has been marvelous to work with and I hope that we can continue to do so.Thanks again for all you do! It makes a difference!"

-Allen Weldy, Rossville High School
