The Educational Exchange Program is a free service offered by the Purdue Office of International Students and Scholars that puts local teachers in touch with Purdue's international students and scholars. This program seeks to encourage international awareness by providing valuable learning opportunities for local school students.
Purdue University has the 3rd largest international student and scholar population in the country. These students can provide a unique opportunity for area school children to receive a first hand account of what life is like in other countries.
Here's what people had to say about the Educational Exchange Program:
"Thanks for continuing the Educational Exchange Program. My World Lit students at Harrison High School have really benefitted from getting to meet others from distant countries and to hear about those places… Let the International Students know just how much good they do by visiting and speaking to the high school students. Thanks again for your help this year."
